It was a fantastic weekend for Chad Entinger, Executive Director of Deaf Missions, at the Deaf Family Retreat at Copper Basin Camp near Prescott, Arizona (about two hours northwest of Phoenix). The retreat meet at a beautiful camp nestled in the mountains with a creek gently rolling down through the campgrounds!
The Deaf Ministry/Church of Camelback Church of Christ in Phoenix hosted this retreat. Brian Baell, who has preached for Deaf Missions' LINK: ASL Sermon Series in the past and who will serve at our Bible Camp for the Deaf as a guest speaker this summer, serves as Deaf Minister at Camelback. Ed Smart, a member of Camelback, was the retreat coordinator.
53 people gathered for this retreat and the theme was "From Bondage to Freedom." Chad personally had the honor and joy of leading several lessons throughout the weekend - "From Bondage to Freedom" on Friday evening, "Overcoming Guilt" on Saturday morning, "Overcoming Temptation/Addiction" on Saturday evening, and "Overcoming Debt" and "Overcoming Worry" on Sunday morning.
Praise God from WHOM all blessings flow!
