The New Training Center
Deaf Missions is undergoing yet another renovation: The New Training Center for the upcoming International Bible Training Center program! Our expert carpenter, Jeff, still have a lot more to do. He has been working on the entrance into the training center.
This will be a classroom or war room (where Christians gather to diligently study the Scriptures and prepare to go into the world and make disciples (followers)! It's a place where men and women will be the Bible people read!

Yardenit
We made our last stop just south of the Sea of Galilee where the Jordan River continue its course from the Sea of Galilee toward the Dead Sea. The last stop was at the Yardenit where people gather to be baptized or witness baptisms. This would be a good place for a closure on your future Israel experience (if you have not buried your life in the Lord in baptism).
Jose and I witnessed several baptisms. But there are different types of baptisms. Sprinkling on the head, baptized three times in a row (in the name of the Father (1), and of the Son (2) and of the Holy Spirit (3), and on baptism in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
There are many different beliefs how baptism is practiced. But the Bible shows several clear Scriptures that baptism is an immersion into the water (i.e. Acts 8 with the eunuch and Romans 6 with emphasis of the word, "buried").

It was the first time for Jose and I see this lady being baptized three times (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)

Israel Experience
The Israel experience was an experience we'll never forget. Of course, there are some disappointments but the experience overall was awesome! Jose and I will share our experience with you on video when we can. Our last stop was at the Yardenit and that is coming up!

Western Wall (Wailing Wall)
We decided to go to the Western Wall which is also called the Wailing Wall, in Hebrew, HaKotel HaMa'aravi. It is located on the eastern side of the Old City of Jerusalem at the foot of the western side of the Temple Mount. It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple's courtyard and is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism. There's a story surrounding this wall from the mid 19th century to 1930 then again 1948 during the Arab-Israeli War. The Jews were barred from the site by the Jordanians for 19 years until Israel captured the Old City in 1967.
Before entering the Wailing Wall, there was heavy security stations just like the security systems you can find at the airport. Our bags had to be x-rayed and we had to go through the body check station.
The men were on one side while the women on the other. They must worship YHWH separately. In this picture are the women and children. The women's side is a smaller section of the wailing wall while the men's side is larger. The men's side also have a library and a place to stand before the wall indoor during inclement of weather.
