The Garden Tomb

We walked for miles from downtown Jerusalem after a late lunch to "The Garden Tomb". We were wiped out after a long morning/afternoon observing the "Via Dolorosa" and praying at each stations. Don't worry, we also prayed for that man who slapped Jose. :)

Just a few pictures for you to see where Jesus' tomb is and where He was crucified on the hill of Golgotha (The Skull).

THE GARDEN TOMB sign:

See.... The tomb!!

Jose entering the tomb (the atmosphere was solemn and people were praying in there).

The tomb is empty! Praise God!

The sign on the door inside the tomb. Amen?

Mark and the tomb.

This is "The Skull" or "Golgotha".
See the two eyes (frowning) and nose just in the middle of these rocks? It is said that Jesus was crucified on top of this hill.

Feel free to read the sign as the Skull is in the background.

As we were leaving, I just had to take one more picture further into the trees near the entrance of the park. Thank you, Jesus! Now, all we are waiting for is Your return!

More to come...
