Nazareth

We visited Nazareth and it wasn't a pretty town. Cars and buses lined up for miles. Trash and graffiti all over. This was the town where Jesus grew up during his adolescent life. I think Nathanael is right when he said, "Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" John 1:46. I think the city still lives up to this verse today! Wow!

It sure is a beautiful country with hills and trees. But with the city and how people treat Nazareth spoils it all!

We finally found Mary's well and was disappointed. You can smell urine down in the rocks below the monument. People threw trash down there too. And, more graffiti!

Nazareth


This is the location of Mary's well in midst of traffic, stores and restaurants. It is not well preserved as historical monument.


Some parts of the city is nice.


This is outside of Nazareth. Beautiful!
