Mount of Beatitudes

We went up to the Mount of Beatitudes. It is really a beautiful place to preach a sermon. Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. The Bible says that there were many in the crowds who came to hear the Word of God (Jesus)! Jose and I read, studied the Beatitudes and shared our thoughts on each of them. Combining a beautiful warm day and reading the Sermon on the Mount on the Mount that was actually delivered by Jesus, priceless!

The first blessings! As soon as we got to the second blessings, it was showing the third blessings. I think the builders made a mistake. Then the rest of the stones did not have the words on them. Darn! Nevertheless, we read it from the Bible and pretending to see the words etched on stone.

A cat came to us and was very, very friendly. She loved to be petted. We were thinking she might be from the family line of descendant (the cats that lived during Jesus' time). ;) Who knows! God does!


Then she decided to sleep on our books!
