Inside Jerusalem

We're on our second day in Jerusalem.

Jose wanted to eat like a King for breakfast while I eat like a Pauper. Seriously! He had Eggs and the works and pomegranate juice while I had pomegranate juice and a "Honey and Oats" bar.. Then I decided to have a banana from the restaurant. Look how small it is!! I paid $5 shekels which is approximately $1.42..

This is one of the most beautiful scenery in the Old City of Jerusalem near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. There are many markets but not like this one. Many other markets are inside and is dark, narrow and distracting! You'll have to put up with alot of smoking, men stepping in your way persuading you to shop in his market, boys and men offering to help find the locations then at the end they'll ask for money. I'll tell you a story about this in the next blog post called, "Via Dolorosa".

This is before we started entering the darker parts of the market. We were on our way to the first station of the Via Dolorosa which is in the Moslem Quarter.

More to come...
