Sodom & Gomorrah

We drove from Arad, Israel back to the Dead Sea looking for the location of Sodom and Gomorrah. We passed by a sign that says, "Lot's Wife" and noticed a tall rock that supposedly symbolizes Lot's wife (or it is, in fact, Lot's wife inside the rock)? We just never know but we know it happened in the area.

Sodom (Sedom) (and Gomorrah) is a very interesting place! Lots of rock formations that looked like there were buildings around the area: pillars, columns, slopes, towers, etc. Though, there's no museum or historical markers, the drive there was worth it!

It looked like there used to be buildings with pillars. The rest of the mountains were not the same as this location.


See at the top of the formations that looks like a tower or pillar of some kind.


Take a look at the brown pole in the back. Do a photo close up at the top of this formation looking like a head statue (forehead, eyes, nose and mouth).


This was on the other side of the rock formations.
